When it comes to industrial wedding venues, it’s hard to beat a warm and welcoming warehouse venue. And as bride and groom Kaitlynn and Drew showed, simple touches of decor can make for a stunning wedding theme.

The wedding was held at the Hackney Warehouse in North Carolina and captured by Between the Pines Photography. The backdrop of exposed brick and beautiful sunlight set the scene for a day of love, clever ideas, and ambiance. By sticking with neutral and blush hues, the touches of green and crimson added notable accents to the wedding colors.

The wedding ceremony and reception were held within the same venue. A heartfelt outdoor ceremony required only simple white chairs, a courtyard, and a wedding arch decorated with rustic floral arrangements. The reception was transformed with hanging fairy lights, understated table settings, and touches of romantic red. Vintage books and tea candles were perfect for industrial wedding centerpieces. A buttercream cake blended simplicity, romance, and rustic touches.

That same simple elegance could be seen in the wedding attire. Bride Kaitlynn stunned in a nude and ivory mermaid wedding dress. Modern, large-print lace appliques and a classic v-neckline provided a timeless but romantic effect. The groom kept it simple with a relaxed fit, classic black suit jacket.

Taken together, the venue and the decor were beautiful but in a simple, understated way. What shined was the couple’s love for each other and the warmth of the occasion.
