An intimate lakeside reception in Raleigh– this styled wedding is perfect inspiration for a small, Autumn reception.

Captured by Alice Hite Photography and planned by Primrose + Lily, warm cooper and peach tones were accented with sprigs of green for a classic but fresh Fall look.

This color scheme began with the setup for an outdoor ceremony, with a wooden archway adorned with crawling vines of wildflowers. Autumn leaves also made their way into the floral arrangement.

Simple wooden chairs formed the aisle and allowed the natural beauty of the setting to speak for itself. Overlooking a tree lined lake, the space felt both intimate and effortlessly romantic– showing just how to pull off a fall theme without having to over decorate.

The reception space carried over warm hues, with real wood grain tables. Copper tones glasses paired with leaf print cloth napkins and scalloped chinaware for a rustic but formal look. Other arrangements added tea candles, a bit of satin table cloth, and expressing peach to crimson hues from flowers and autumn leaves.

For such a reception, especially on a chilly day, a lace sleeved wedding dress would be perfect. All told, with candlelight, an intimate guest list and passion, this ceremony space showcases the beauty of a small, fall themed wedding.
