Khristiana and Keith have a grand vision for their wedding: a sweeping reception at the Belle Garden Estate in Roanoke. The pandemic changed some of those plans.
But despite the restrictions, Khristiana and Keith held on to their vision by scaling it down and still having the same beautiful and meaningful details that mattered to them most.
The day began with Khristiana preparing at the historical Belle Garden Estate with breathtakingly beautiful rooms flooded with light. Wooden floors, gauzy curtains and formal rugs made for an elegant and timeless place to get ready.
The bridesmaid dresses were dusty pink, with an off the shoulder neckline and slim A Line skirt. Bride Khristina radiated in a sheath wedding dress with a sweep train and heavily beaded bodice. Natural makeup and silver earrings complimented a traditional veil.
Keith exchanged vows with Khristianna in a relaxed fit suit with a red tie to match the red in the full and romantic rose floral bouquet. A classic whire fireplace, topped with abundant roses, took the place of a traditional altar.
From the sprawling green lawns to the floral wallpapered rooms, Jessica Lapp Photography captured the elegance, timelessness, and warmth of the day. That also extended to the small dining room reception, set with blush tablecloths, white china ware, candlelight, and white, pink and crimson floral arrangements.
A plated meal, specialty desserts, and historical furnishings were just the right touches for this charming, intimate wedding. Sometimes wedding inspiration comes most when things don’t go as planned.
