The Foundry in Long Island, New York serves as the historical backdrop for this industrial styled wedding shoot, captured by Image Taker Studios and featuring models from True Model Management.
Bold pops of orange and purple make for a vibrant, exciting and modern color scheme, set against the warmth of exposed brick and sleek black and metallic accents. The venue features a loft, plenty of outdoor space, and, of course, dazzling city views. Vines crawl on brick walls; overhead lights evoke industrial ambiance; and the open air setting is perfect for a lively new take on a reception.
Instead of oversized bouquets color, not volume is the focus, with flowers in hues of brilliant shades of purple, pink, and fuchsia. And instead of the traditional wedding cake, dessert is given a stylish update with cupcakes and small bites.
For the first bridal look, the style feels very much modern fairytale with loosely tousled curls, blush cheeks, and a bouquet of daisies and yellow flowers. The wedding dress features a scoop neck bodice, natural waistline and classic ball gown silhouette. The detailing, including light pleating, provides some modern structure.
The second bridal look also embraces natural beauty, with stunning hair and light barely there makeup. Wearing the same wedding dress, this bride instead pairs her look with a bouquet of purple, and signature mascara in lieu of the blush cheeks. Meanwhile, the groom’s dark fitted suit looks in place with the city scape, but the patterned tie adds a personal touch.
