Pastels and Halloween may not always seem to be the most natural pairing, but this spunky shoot, captured by Vampira Photography and styled by A Spoonful of Planning, may prove an unique twist can be truly memorable.
A twist on the oh so popular Fall themed wedding, this styled shoot offers a burst of playful and beautiful notes. Rich autumnal tones are taken a shade lighter, swapping out coppers and pumpkin for pastel yellow, petal pink and yellow and rose gold. The result? Playful, elegant, and refreshing.
The playful theme begins with pastel, handmade stationary, set on tables with pink and teal tablecloths. Halloween themed cookies add spunk but still stay classy with pastel frosting. Gold and rose gold utensils and plates nod to the richer notes of fall with a touch of elegance. Meanwhile, miniature pumpkins and cupcakes add the inviting touches that just beg guests to come enjoy.
If the table settings are fall themed with a twist, so too is the fashion. Bridesmaids don flowing chiffon sheath dresses in lemon yellow and light berry pink. The groom’s relaxed suit and blue matches the ease of the setting, while the bride goes slightly more formal in a strapless, modern white ball gown that flows gracefully. The subtle layers of the skirt are a great detail for an otherwise classic and minimalist gown.
Perhaps the most stunning part of this shoot is how it all comes together: pastels, hints of fall, and warm sunlight with picturesque river views of Occoquan.
