If you’re looking for wedding inspo with Hollywood glamour and plenty of sparkle, look no further. Set at The Tower in Bakersfield, California, this truly evokes the iconic style Old Hollywood was known for, with rich gold, champagne and white tones, complemented by the sparkle of diamonds.
A stained glass cathedral stuns with an elegant chandelier, rounded skylights, and grand front doors. A classic lace tablecloth is complemented by silver and gold tones for a place to sit before the ceremony. With the opulence of the setting, decor is kept to a minimal–and allows us to focus on the bride.
The bride evokes Marilyn Monroe, with champagne blonde curls, a double strand necklace, sparkling headband and drop diamond earrings. A ruched sweetheart bodice adds the romance to a structured A line wedding dress, while the black gloves adds that eccentric but iconic finish to the bridal look. A fitted black tuxedo and bow tie is the perfect option for the groom.
An unexpected twist? The three tiered, highly stylized cake. Thin strands of gold ribbon adorn an otherwise silver look, topped with flowers and playful feathers. It’s the perfect final note, and balances out the more formal elegance of orchids and gold settings on the tables.
