Warm oranges tones, luxurious outdoor areas, and brilliant afternoon sunlight abound in this playful, New Jersey shoot, styled by Heather Benge Events and captured by Vampira Photography.
Set at the Park Chateau & Estates, the grounds are welcoming and replete with bountiful flowered shrubs, hedges, and mature trees. Classic lamp posts and rows of rose, apricot, blush and white grace cobblestone paths for a classic feel. The lighting includes both abundant sunshine and shade under a canopy of trees.
While classic, there are playful touches too, especially in the bridal and groom attire. An afternoon gray suit fits the relaxed vive, while a pumpkin bowtie bridges traditional and modern. Shaved sides and slicked back hair add a final touch.
The bride’s look also plays with conventions: a chapel, lightly embroidered train on the wedding dress is classic, and the sweetheart neckline adds playful romance. But the updo adds a twist with a slightly tousled look paired with an oversized but still elegant bridal rose bouquet.
The couple lounges on a velvet pumpkin chaise, and also enjoys a French inspired dining table. The light wood of the chairs and table matches the classic but relaxed theme, while gold and champagne tones to the settings add just the right touches of warmth. A three tiered cake is made whimsical with feather embellishments and a slightly over the top style to match the gorgeous, tall floral arrangements.
