Weddings are always beautiful, but just as heartfelt? A vow renewal ceremony, like this offbeat, off road ceremony set in Fort Mohave, Arizona.
Off road cars in the middle of the desert may not be a typical location for most, but the splendor, boho vibes, and overflowing love was hard to miss, as captured by Twomermaids Photography. A wooden archway was decorated with an oversized bouquet of dark, light and pink roses, where Mrs. and Mr. Hunter renewed their vows. Dessert rock, beaming sunlight, and rocky terrain provided an authentic, dramatic backdrop.
The ceremony attire played nods to traditional weddings, but with relaxed boho and western styles. Mrs. Hunter opted for an intricately embroidered, flowing A-line dress with gauzy illusion bell sleeves for a beautiful but slightly casual and offbeat feel suited for the off the trail desert environment. She complimented her look with wavy hair, light mascara and just a bit of color for her cheeks for a sun kissed makeup look. Mr. Hunter kept his look casual with a tan dress shirt to echo the dessert colors.
After renewing their vows, food was plentiful, with a banquet of appetizers including meats, olives, cheese, dip and more. Guests ordered wine and signature drinks off a chalkboard menu, and Mrs. and Mr. Hunter cut into a single tier, glazed white cake. A live guitarist and a sparkler send off cast the intimate renewal into a magical light after sunset, befitting of lasting love and an endlessly inspiring desert landscape.
