Jewel-Toned Rustic Styled Wedding | Diamond Bridal Gallery

Rustic weddings remain popular–but in this innovative styled shoot, Lisette OC Photography and event planner A Golden Affair team up to add jewel tones for a more playful and vibrant twist on a go-to theme.

While we often associate rustic weddings with dusky and rich autumnal hues, this styled shoot does just the opposite, creating a spectacular option for spring and summer weddings. It’s also well suited for the lush, garden-like setting at the Griffith House in Anaheim, California. A lightly wooded lawn leads to the house, with clean white paths and wildflowers in bloom, clear blue skies and afternoon sunlight.

The wedding table plays these jeweled tones perfectly, with gold embellished chairs; rose gold candlesticks; and an eclectic assortment of teal, blue, green and rose tinted glasses and mason jars. Green foliage and white florals tie in the rustic theme, and each setting includes a personal name card.  Even the bridal bouquet echoes these multicolor celebrations, with roses and wildflowers in purple, pink, fuschia and white in an oversized, just-picked arrangement.

The groom’s jeweled tone purple vest and matching tie is a bold look that coordinates with the theme for a playful but still formal appeal. Meanwhile, the bridal look is effortlessly gorgeous, with minimal makeup, a crimson lipstick, and a structured A-line wedding dress featuring a babydoll waistline, sweetheart neckline, and just a little beading for a subtly elegant look.

A piece of gauzy fabric tied between two trees makes for an offbeat archway, with rustic chairs lining a whimsical aisle. Indie meets rustic meets boho–and bold pops of color–for a dazzling twist on a classic theme.
