From a collaboration of Connecticut and New York designers comes a style shoot featuring minimalist elegance, classic white and dusky blue, and bits of glamour, set at the private family estate of Smith Farm Gardens.

From first glance, a vintage romance is established with captivating mood lighting and vivid colors from Par La Mer Photography. We start the styled shoot with handcrafted stationery, slate blues and classic script writing. Tea candles and heirloom ribbons straddle a wooden table.

The bride prepares in a room with a classic four poster bed, original wood floors, and jade green curtains that overlook the gardens below.

Her choice of wedding dress is undeniably vintage glamour. The halter neckline, glittering ivory silhouette, and draped train glimmers wherever she goes. A low soft bun, natural makeup, and silver heels make for a truly iconic look. A cut out back detail on the dress makes the look that much more memorable.

The bridal table is at once cozy, classic, and vintage, with soft candlelight and dusk blue accents. Classic wine glasses, a chandelier and a handsome fireplace make for a cozy feel that would be perfect for Fall and even Winter weddings.

While signature vintage is at the heart of this styled shoot, so too are minimalist touches, which becomes immediately clear not just from the groom’s fitted afternoon tuxedo, but the bridal cake, with a single tier beautifully decorated with a velvet ribbon. Outside, the bride and groom share embraces and kisses on the porch of the manor, in a timeless frame that’s captivating in its beauty.
