When Charlie and Daniella started out on a road trip across the southwest in a camper van, no one knew it would end up in an elopement.

The couple rented a camper and spent almost a week seeing the stunning dusk landscape of Southern Utah, Nevada, and Northern Arizona, even spending time at national parks for unforgettable sights.

Though Charlie and Daniella have been together seven years and bought a house recently, this trip came without expectations–at least for Daniella.

In reality, Charlie had been planning a proposal all along, knowing that their most meaningful moments had been spent traveling together. Just two years before, a trip to Bali and the Philippines left an impression on Charlie as one of the best times of his life.

Luckily, Daniella not only accepted Charlie’s proposal, but agreed to elope. While no wedding dress was featured in these stunning photos by Traci Edwards Photography, the couple looked very much in love and at ease overlooking rust colored rocky cliffs and a seemingly endless sky.

 Wearing earthy tones and a splash of blue. Daniella and Charlie were blissful as they shared moments of joy. It is, however, just the beginning of yet another journey together.
