Joe and Rachel had been dating two years when he decided to propose at the couple’s favorite reef in the Florida Keys. During their planning for their October 2019 wedding at Vinoy Renaissance St Petersburg, they decided to announce their engagement with this beautiful photo shoot, captured by Limelight Photography.
The photo shoot took places in Downtown Saint Pete, the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, The Dali Museum, and North Shore Park, for a wide spectrum of romantic and modern touches to really showcase how much the region means to Joe and Rachel.
In the first set, Rachel opted for a deep turquoise chiffon dress, while Joe wore navy dress pants and a loose, lightly striped dress shirt. Bountiful pale pink, bursts of yellow and even magenta hues are showcased in lush gardens. Terraces and palm trees showcase the beauty of the palm beach region.
For the second set, Rachel traded in her floor length chiffon dress for a modern black and nude lace cocktail dress, slightly tousled hair, and nude heels. Joe, in a modern and relaxed fit suit, celebrated with Rachel in front of the Dali Museum for vibrant and modern photos.
Just as touching were the final set of photos, where Rachel and Joe wore more casual clothes and held hands in North Shore Park overlooking a blue sky with wispy clouds.
