Dancing with the Stars, a hit ABC reality TV show, is full of glitz, glamour, and moments that are memorable. Emma and Sasher’s spring Los Angeles wedding captured all of that, with some elegant twists.
It may seem like an unconventional wedding theme, but the glitz, glamour and romance of the hit tv show shone through on their wedding day, from the white rose lined aisle to the costumes and splashy spotlights and bright hues of the lively reception.
The wedding party’s attire was a mix of tradition and glitz. The groomsmen donned fitted black suits and black bow ties, but the groom starred in a white tuxedo jacket. The bridesmaids’ floor length pink off the shoulder dresses were simply elegant, but the bridal gown was a mix of both elegance and fashion forward choices. Long sleeve, illusion lace sleeves and buttons running down the back of an A line with long, flowing train kept the look formal, but an element of daring was added with a nearly sheer bodice, plunging neckline, and deep side cut outs. A simple red lip and smoky eye was a statement in traditional glamour.
A white rose archway was extravagant and theatrical, especially when illuminated in purple light. At the reception, guests were greeted with gold tables and chairs, oversized white rose table arrangements, and delicate wine glasses. The party continued with a prop booth, and unconventional multi tiered cake covered with flowers of nearly every hue, and of course, plenty of dancing.
