Saint George, Utah may sound like an unlikely location for a boho inspired wedding styled shoot, but these photos, captured by Ashley and Justin Photography proves that the setting is just the perfect backdrop.
Boho styled weddings, with breezy fabric, flowing material, vibrant colors and quirky decor has long been on the rise in popularity, but some couples aren’t sure exactly how to pull it off. This style shoot is the perfect example, pairing warm neutral such as natural wood, tans, and a touch of gold, with bright turquoise, peach and pink for a color palette that exudes energy, carefree spirit, and beauty.
A simple but beautiful bouquet of white, pink, and peach roses with sprigs of baby’s breath and pops of blue adds a touch of elegance to a natural look. Succulents are added to evoke both the Utah setting and an unconventional twist. The traditional white wake is given a boho update with dripping gold and wildflowers. Candles of varying width and height, gold tones plates and cutlery, and a playful wooden swing complete the look.
In terms of attire, the groom opts for a fitted gray suit and a black bow tie, while the bride wears a soft, relaxed fit and flare wedding dress trimmed with just a touch of lace and naturally light and flowing. She wears her hair down, with lightly tousled waves for a romantic but carefree look.
This shoot displays exactly what boho should be: beautiful, light, and free.
