Rachel Leintz Photography adds an almost mythical touch to this styled shoot, drawing from boho styles and adding pops of bold color with expertly executed floral arrangements, as well as adding touches of glamour with jeweled accent notes.
Rachel Leintz, owner of Rachel Leintz Photography, says she has never attempted a bohemian styled shoot because of the very soft colors–her preference is for photography that is more stylized and dramatic.
Kahara, the model bride for the shoot, was the main inspiration, as she has a “unique and stunning look”. Hoping to really channel her inner goddess, the location seemed perfect, with a garden filled with cacti, climbing and lush vines, and a floral tunnel entrance. The lush greenery was a beautiful play in contrasts with the more monochrome muted notes of the stone architecture in the backdrop.

The theme of nature and man made elements continued even into the carefully styled looks of the bride and groom. The groom wore a fitted slate gray suit that evoked the elegance and sophistication of the stone columns. But the bride went for more natural elements, with bursts of stunning color. A floral crown of lush red roses and succulents still feels bohemian, but much bolder. The same theme plays out with her ethereal wedding dress: Off the shoulder cap lace sleeves had a pattern reminiscent of the garden surrounding her. The fitted silhouette, meanwhile adds that dramatic statement that made her look like the goddess of her own garden.
The look was completed with a soft lip and slightly smoky eye.
