Wisteria is a lovely flower, known for its violet hue and elegant draping. This styled shoot by Persuasion    Photography captures that elegance and frames it with the backdrop of a Victorian Mansion for a stunning, unforgettable styled shoot sure to capture the hearts of anyone looking for a vintage touch to their wedding.

Inspired by the blooms of southern Wisteria in springtime, the Woodruff-Fontaine House in Memphis Tennessee helps capture the southern charm and timeless elegance in a gorgeous look that almost feels effortless. A lilac silk tablecloth covers the sweetheart table, with a white and purple floral arrangement complemented by understated silverware and classic glassware. Glasses are graced with blackberries and small tea lights add an intimate touch. Floral crowns hug the two layered fondant cake.

The bride dons a sweep veil over her face, subtle lilac eye shadow and just a touch of mascara. Her wedding gown is straight out of a classic fairy tale, with a full tulle skirt, princess seams, a heavily beaded sweetheart bodice, and a simple zip up back.

Outside the mansion, a small courtyard features a terrace with a lush overlapping vine, sprawling green lawns and a stunning balcony. The groom’s slightly relaxed dark gray suit is a natural fit, and there’s no denying that the backdrop of the mansion itself in the background–with soft red brick and and creamy white siding–adds that magical touch. Whimsy, romance, and history collide with spectacular grace and beauty.
