Romance and history collide in this delightful styled wedding shoot by Kimberly Santana Photography. Antique lace, pastel notes, and a backdrop rich with history make this shoot true wedding inspiration.
Set in the historic Howey Mansion in Howey-in-the-Hills Florida, it’s hard to overstate the understated elegance of the natural vintage details. Silver platters, chandeliers, dark wood dining tables and chairs, and ornate and stately window views flood the shoot with historical details that make you feel you’ve stepped back in time. Iron gates and white stone make for a beautiful backdrop in the courtyard and balance out the heavier notes of the antique furnishings, as does a powder blue Parisian-inspired chair.
The bride is absolutely stunning in head to toe antique lace wedding dress with a plunging neckline with illusion details along the v-neck. A low curled chignon and a bouquet of pale pink roses and sprigs of baby’s breath completes the timeless look. A surprising illusion lace back with white buttons adds a touch of modernity to make the dress truly exquisite., The groom is also timeless in a fitted black tuxedo with slightly cropped pants and a matching pink rose corsage.
But likely the most timeless look of all is the way the couple gazes into each other’s eyes, history both behind and in front of them.
