It the classical romantic story: Jada and O’Dane grew up together, attended church, and ultimately fell in love. The twist: the two got engaged at a John Legend concert the night before Mother’s Day, where O’Dane popped the question with a precious yellow cushion cut diamond ring.
But while Jada wanted a fashion forward and elegant day worthy of the Golden Age of Hollywood, she was more into simply elegance than tons of bling. For the ceremony, she wore her hair in loose curls and donned a clean line drop waist mermaid gown. The sweetheart neckline and ruffled layer skirt reflected a fashion forward but simple elegance. That played perfectly with the aisle of draped white curtains leading to groom O’Dane, in a classic deep blue tuxedo and black bow tie with black lapels.
Simple elegance reigned supreme at the reception. Guests feasted their eyes on a tower of black, white, and gold cupcakes beside a three-tiered black fondant cake with edible golden pearls. Bountiful white roses and hydrangeas nestled against candlesticks with strings of pearls. Classic cinema posters and glittering tablecloths added more glam.
And Jada had a surprise for the reception: an above-the knee little white dress perfect for dancing the night away. The wedding, and all it glamour, was captured by Limelight Photography.
