Cool temperatures and autumnal hues make the Bay Area’s Thomas Fogarty Winery absolutely stunning in the fall. Redwoods and surrounding mountains overlook beautifully kept grounds and stone paths. It was the perfect place for an outdoor ceremony for Traci and Kory, who exchanged vows just as a golden sun set.
Simple and natural elegance was the theme of the day: dusty blue bridesmaid dresses paired with crimson and soft pink wild flowers. For a bit of rustic charm, barrels and flower petals lined the grass aisle. While the groomsmen wore gray afternoon suits, Kori sported a spunky checkered navy blue suit.
Traci opted for a more traditional, but ethereal look: the deep sweetheart neckline of her A-line gown was complemented with an illusion v-neck and back and a diaphanous chiffon skirt.
As beautiful as the ceremony was, the reception truly brought Traci and Kory’s personal touches to light. Long rectangular tables with natural wood chairs were decorated with simple white tablecloths and tea candles.
Guests dined on fresh salad, sauteed asparagus, ravioli and fried chicken–all of which gave them energy to hit the dance floor (which included children and an Uber driver), select from bundt cakes, and join in the dramatic sparkler send-off for the newlyweds.
