What do a yellow school bus, miniature potted plants, and sprawling green lawns have in common? These just happen to be some of the elements that went into Meredith and Matt’s charming lakewide wedding.

Pictures by Todd perfectly captured the whimsical and intimate feel of Meredith and Matt’s wedding, which took place at a private family home where they’d spent years past vacationing. Everything was understated and quaint, from the simple aisle of wooden chairs to the white tent for the ceremony. A backdrop of winding wooden fences and lush green lawns made for gorgeous photographs.

Light gray suits and blush ties complemented the bohemian-inspired ivory bridesmaid dresses. With splashes of yellow, soft pink, and green, the bouquets add a subtle pop of color to an otherwise neutral palette.

Meredith exuded grace and understated beauty in an unique, alabaster dress with draped long sleeves, head to toe buttons, and simple ribbing at the natural waist. With a fresh face, pink lip, and unadorned hair, she looked refreshingly beautiful and at ease.

The tent reception stole the day with stringed lights, a wooden dance floor, potted plants, milk jugs, and fruit, cheese, and meat trays. A ridged buttercream cake made a statement with rings of sage leaves.
