Haley and Grant’s romance was unexpected: even though they both attended Erskine College, she was a senior and he was a freshman. It was only after they both happened to take jobs coaching JV high school soccer players that they started to get to know each other. But when they did, it was clear they were a match.

When it came to planning their wedding, both Haley and Grant wanted to keep things intimate and simple: Haley worried about having too big expectations, and Grant, who’s on the shy side, was equally nervous about having thing over-the-top.

But that genuine touch proved to be a beautiful and surprisingly relaxing day. Haley and Grant exchanged vows in a stained glass church with a wooden cross placard and bouquets of white roses and baby’s breath.

Champagne chiffon bridesmaid dresses featured beautiful ruching and halter necklines. While the groomsmen wore classic black tuxedos, Grant opted for a white tuxedo and black bowtie. All eyes were on Haley as she walked down the aisle in a strapless pure white A-line gown with an embroidered bodice and soft chapel train. With her red hair in softly curled tendrils, she looked absolutely stunning.

The reception looked like perfection with glitter gold tablecloths, signs with Biblical scripture, and table lanterns. The day was captured by Ashleigh Donahue Photography
