As one of the social media executives for the United States Olympic teams, Joey had a crucial task. But even more pressing? Proposing to his college sweetheart, Jamie.
He asked for Jamie’s hand in marriage in a place she would never forget: a stunning lavender field in Hawaii. And it is this beauty, and devotion, that the couple showcased in their Colorado wedding, photographed by Felix Studios.
The couple brought back lavender touches for the entire day, from the lilac sashes of floor length navy blue bridesmaid dresses, to simple bouquets of pale white and violet wildflowers. Reception tables featured tree ring coaster, tea candles and bouquets in mason jars.
But above all, Joey wanted to make his vows memorable, by surprising Jamie with a serenade. Dressed in a relaxed black suit and classic black tie, he strummed a guitar as he sang vows. Bride Jamie donned a ivory sweetheart ball gown, with a tiered tulle skirt, ruching along the bodice, and a crystal belt at the natural waist.
The wedding arch? A branch of cascading purple and white wildflowers.
