When it came to planning the ceremony, there was little doubt that it would be held outside. Jessica and Tripp initially met online, but it was on a walk that Tripp proposed. The natural setting of the outdoors reflected the deep and authentic love the couple shared for one another.

At the Chickawa Outdoor Center in Lexington, South Carolina, overlooking the Saulda River, the couple exchanged vows just as the sun set. Rows of white chairs and a clear tent were set up on a lush lawn, with pink silk streamers adorning the altar. Baby’s breath and white and pink roses made for beautiful but understated bouquets. The bride was radiant in a beaded ivory gown with cap sleeves, a deep v-neck, and a soft skirt that trailed ever so slightly as she made her way back up the aisle. The groom was at ease in a relaxed fit charcoal gray suit and blush tie, matching the blush color of the chiffon bridesmaids dresses.

The reception was held inside, overlooking the natural beauty and carrying over the soft blush and white tones from the ceremony. A simple single tiered cake was accompanied by a stand of chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with blush colored buttercream frosting. A perfectly sweet final note to a gorgeous day.
