From the moment they met, Carl and Rebecca weren’t what you would call a conventional couple. After falling in love online, the two realized they shared a love for sports and music, two things other couples might fight over. Add to that that Carl seemed like a natural son for Rebecca’s strong willed father, and the couple seemed meant to be.

But for their ceremony and reception, the couple wanted two things: to honor their faith and family, and, importantly, do it with a lot of flair and fun. Even the traditional Catholic ceremony hinted at Rebecca and Carl’s playfulness. While the bridesmaids donned long black chiffon gowns with lace halter tops, the groom paired his white tux with a printed bow tie, bedazzled lapel, and black ball cap. The bride’s gown featured a tiered chiffon skirt, beaded bodice, and illusion straps with a plunging sweetheart neckline.

The reception is where the fun kicked off, New-Orleans style. Masquerade masks, silk roses, strands of pearls, and feather arrangements decorated the guest tables. The dessert table featured a two tiered textured buttercream cake with a dramatic feathered cake topper, gold foil leaves, cupcakes, and a wine goblet filled with rolo candies. With black tablecloths, handmade silk bouquets, and glittering gold glasses, the night was a party that will not soon be forgotten.
