Garden weddings are a beautiful concept, especially for spring and summer brides who have a natural love for the outdoors. But as popular as garden weddings are, they can run the risk of looking like other weddings. The idea behind this shoot by Take 1 Photography is modernizing the concept of the garden wedding and also making it more versatile, drawing inspiration from the soft colors of a real garden and transporting it into an indoor venue.
Pale pink, ivy green, and metallic copper are a beautiful but modern palette. The dessert table features a two tiered cream colored cake, plates of peach and white macaroons, tea candles, and art deco inspired pink and white paper flowers. The theme continues at the dinner table, with copper plates and utensils, glasses of rosé, and trailing ivy with paper pink and metallic roses.
But if anything exudes garden glamour, it is the bride and groom themselves. The bride wears a soft tulle ball gown, but it is the plunging neckline and flower pattern, embroidered straps that make this look both sensual and modern. Even her hair is organic with a modern vibe: a soft updo with a loose curled tendrils is taken to a new level with a jeweled headband with a vine pattern. The groom keeps a light gray suit sophisticated with a black velvet bow tie.
