Republic Restoratives in Washington D.C. provided the backdrop for a wedding style shoot with Karlin Villondo Photography that elegantly combined vintage and antique touches with sleek, modern styling. A key element of this venue is the dark, seasoned wood that serves as a rustic backdrop for the wedding accessories. The venue also has an industrial styling which provides and interesting juxtaposition of rustic and elegance. Calligraphed invitations, place cards, and menu cards and the gold antlers provided a touch of old-world charm, contrasted by the bride’s chic, sophisticated and modern gown with lace bodice and long, slim skirt.

The bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres, and table pieces all boast an abundance of greenery with flowers in hues of plum, orange, and pinks that are appropriate for any time of the year. The bride’s bouquet duplicates these garden florals with an added touch of air plants and ivy for a unique texture and shape.
