Allie and Jeff created a flawless, monochromatic setting for their Pacific beach destination wedding in Costa Rica. From the white sand beach to the white guest benches to the white bridesmaid dresses and white bouquets, the day was a fairytale blend of elegance and casual. Sue Kelson Events helped to bring Allie’s vision of a chic, white wedding to life.
The happy couple said their vows on the beach, beneath a wooden arbor festooned with white muslin, flowers, and driftwood, at the Four Seasons Costa Rica. Allie wore a custom Galia Lahav white mermaid gown with an open back and cloud-like tulle bottom. Showcasing the current wedding trend, her bridesmaid continued the monochromatic white look by wearing matching white lace Jovani gowns, also in a mermaid style, with open lace skirts and deep necklines.
Jeff and his groomsmen were casual but impeccable in khaki pants and crisp, white button-downs. Jeff and Allie even asked their guests to wear white, cream or khaki to the ceremony to complement the white on white ambiance.
For the reception, dining tables where lined with an assortment of clear, glass vases filled with a variety of white flowers, from tulips and roses, to orchids and lilies, placed on pure white table linens. Dotting the whiteness were occasional tiny succulent plants and gold candles. Even the lighting added a sparkle to the monochromatic perfection of the day. Crystal chandeliers rained down glittering light from above and up lighting shined a splash of warm, champagne-colored light on the trees. The effect was a dazzling, sophisticated, magical setting for Allie and Jeff’s love story.
Illustrating that love story, Jennie and Eddie Photographers captured the wedding moments that showcased the couple’s style and taste, as well as their commitment to their happily ever after.
