The first thing that struck Bethany and Tanner’s photographer during their engagement shoot: this was no ordinary bride and groom. The engagement photos and the big day, both captured by Jasmine White Photography, also captured something else: the couple’s love for each other, and everyone in their lives.
Bethany and Tanner approach everything with enthusiasm, heart, and a lot of charm. And they brought that same playful spirit to create a remarkable wedding. The couple exchanged vows and celebrated at The Resort at Glade Springs, a lush 4,000 acre escape of lush lawns, mature trees, and a 18-hole golf course nearby. The breathtaking view was the perfect backdrop for an outdoor ceremony, complete with white chairs adorned with strips of tulle and white and pink flower arrangements.
The petal pink and lavender bridesmaid gowns were a touch of classic romance, but each woman wore a slightly different shade to mark her individuality. That theme carried over to the groomsmen, who sported gray suits and ties in different hues of pink.
But it was Bride Bethany’s look that stole the day with its alluring individuality, boldness, and spirit. A beaded mermaid is not a gown every bride can pull off, but it was the perfect expression of Bethany’s bubbly personality. The champagne gown featured a plunging illusion front that revealed a deep sweetheart neckline. Heavy beading and crystals adorned a jeweled collar, and a fitted bodice that accentuated the bride’s curves and stunning figure. The tulle skirt flared dramatically into an ivory hue, with soft satin trim. With her hair in a simple updo and a chapel length veil, Bethany was the vision of an extraordinary bride. The groom’s gold tie complemented the gown’s champagne bodice.
Pink and white rose bouquets with strands of tiny pearls tied the look together. And during down time, the groom held a portrait of a loved one who couldn’t be there. Because above all, Bethany and Tanner wanted to celebrate not only their marriage, but everyone in their lives, too.
