Sometimes love is right and front of you: for bride Melissa and groom Nicholas, that sentiment couldn’t be any truer. The couple had mutual friends, lived down the road from each other, and even participated in the same events at college. But it wasn’t until they met online that they realized what they’d been missing: each other.

The meant-to-be romance was given an elegant and organic display when Melissa and Nicholas wed at the Melba Estate, a sanctuary of palatial ivy and gardens. Located in the Yarra Valley, the breathtaking views were also symbolic: the couple often visited there, and the natural greenery worked perfectly for a backdrop. For a personal touch, the couple’s beloved dog, Mia, was honored with the role of the ring bearer.

Enhancing the romantic feel, the bride wore an off the shoulder lace A-line gown with a floor sweeping veil and a stunning train. The groom’s choice of navy blue spoke complemented the elegant but organic feel. With live violin music, crimson autumn leaves, and pink roses lining the aisle, the outdoor ceremony was one to remember. One hundred close friends and families witnessed Mia deliver the rings–and plenty of kisses–to the happy couple.
