Rustic design elements and soft colors were combined to create a beautiful style shoot for brides who want to infuse a natural element into the wedding, while still keeping it feminine and romantic.
Instead of going with a traditional white, a gorgeous blush tone was used to complement other muted tones, including ivory and green. This classic color combination pairs wonderfully with the natural hues found in the surrounding landscape and décor – especially a charming barn, which serves as the venue for the ceremony and reception.
Kate Olson Photography did a fabulous job capturing the love between this real couple, as well as highlighting many of the design inspirations featured throughout the style shoot. The wedding cake is more on the modern side, with minimal icing and using a soft palette of florals to add texture and style. Since the flowers are so eye-catching, a naked or minimalist-style cake is the perfect way to go, especially when paired with a gold cake stand.
