A Spotlight on Designer Beverley Siri

*Siri Bridal Trunk Show Feb 24-26*

Siri Bridal is a San Francisco-based design company specializing in dresses of “understated elegance.” It was created by Beverley Siri in 1999, growing from her long and fruitful experience throughout the design and fashion industry.

In 1988, Beverley Siri beganwith her simplified dress label Siri. Her experience living in Milan and working in the Italian fashion world translated into her designs. She became known for her Italian-inspired, architecturally-patternedtextures and styles. She won the 1994 design award from Cotton Incorporated for the best novelty apparel fabric, and one of her first dress orders came from the prestigious Henri Bendel of NYC! Within a few years, Siri dresses were in numerous specialty and high-end stores, including I. Magnin, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth Avenue.

Beverleyis known for her modern take on the quasi-retro style gown and her wool-like woven cottons. In 1998, her idea for the short, rewarable, and fashionable bridesmaid dress flourished. She became the destination for bridesmaids who didn’t want to “look like a bridesmaid” and wanted to continue to wear their dresses after the wedding.

In 1999, she transitioned into creating wedding gowns with an emphasis on simple sophistication. Her wedding dresses are now sold in boutiques and premier bridal salons throughout the U.S. and Canada, and she has already become a household name in San Francisco. Her bridaldesigns of her company Siri Bridalinclude brides’gowns, bridesmaids’ dresses, mother-of-the-bride outfits, and other eveningwear and special occasions.

We love that she creates long and luxurious bridal gowns as well as short and flirty bridal dresses. The dresses incorporate fine, high-quality silk and flattering silhouettes, so every bride can look and feel stylishly stunning!

We are so inspired by Beverley Siri’s extensive work in the bridal market, so we will be talking about the brand in future blog posts as well. You can learn more about her design history—even in textiles and tabletop!—at her website.

We are excited to announce that Diamond Bridal Gallery will be hosting a SiriBridal trunk show on February 24-26! Stop by to feel the unique textures and fall in love with the gorgeously elegant styles!
